An urban farm in the city as a new way of development. Creating sustainable, green and open space in the Dutch tradition by combining the useful with the pleasant. Working and living together in a mix of urban and rural community. General concept for project: alternating strips of buildings and farmland, opening up views from the street towards the water. A collection of different buildings that combine urban functions such as housing and offices together with agriculture. An office block that funnels excess air and heat towards a greenhouse on top.
