Dreaming Christals of Duisburg

The single citizen can improve his/her apartment, but has no power for ‘beautifying’ the rest. Therefore the town planners have the to find a feasible solution for increasing the aesthetic value of their urban space. The solution proposed by Lisa Borgiani and Massimo Nidini is that of changing the light of the town(s) by placing several (big and small) ‘crystals’ in its space. During the day crystals will create an effect  through reflections, during night through illumination. The light can change things and reshape a space, making it special and therefore more valuable.   Prof. Carlo Pelanda
