Location: The Hague "Design is the synthesis of new shape and cool colors!" The Museums are located on an island in a large shallow lake. The GEM Museum will disappear under a huge pyramid, so the old roof will be covered in a new space. The shape of the new Gemeente Museum reminds of a whale, even here, the museum will disappear under a new shell. This saves construction costs and also creates unusual buildings. Art and Design needs challenges. We are the future - or not?
