On our way to school we walk by these two houses everyday. We like them and we were really interested in how timbered houses are built. Before we started building we talked to the people who were living in the houses and they told us that living in such a house was a great pleasure. We wanted to show people who do not know Sprockhövel how great these old houses are. But the inside should be really modern and spacious like a loft. We think that to live in such a combination of old and new is an ideal way of living. We would love to do that in the future. When we were making the models, we did it in the original timber way, first making the wood construction.
