Finbarr McComb
Short BioFinbarr McComb studied architecture at the Delft University of Technology. Alongside his studies he worked for a small architecture office and the atelier of the Chief Government Architect. He graduated in the 'Border Conditions' studio, of which a publication is due mid 2010. In 2006 he won the international architecture competition European 8, which kick-started the formation of the office Stereo Architects, together with Pieter Sprangers. The office is aimed at an integral approach to architecture and urbanism, and has worked together with different (landscape) architects and urbanists. Over the years Stereo Architects has won several prizes in award competitions and participated in a number of research projects. Recently, Finbarr McComb has been awarded a grant by the Netherlands Foundation for Visual Arts, Design and Architecture for his contribution to architecture in the Netherlands.
