The 3rd i exhibition’s second location is MK Gallery on the Witte de Withstraat in Rotterdam, with a live link to the DCC.
3rd i - MK GalleryAugust 14 – September 5, 2010 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. local time In this parallel exhibition, visitors can control the 3rd i robots at the Shanghai exhibition from Rotterdam, and virtually visit the Shanghai exhibition.
Visitors should come to MK Gallery in the morning: the time difference between Shanghai and Rotterdam implies a live link is only possible from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00/2:00 p.m Rotterdam time.
Next to steering the 3rd i robots in Shanghai, visitors can meet their Chinese counterparts through the Web Booth at the Telepresence Cafe, and watch Couscous Global’s video interviews with the workshop participants.
V2_ will host a special China programme at MK Gallery during the exhibition. |

Programme MK GalleryEvery Wednesday and Friday V2_ organizes presentations by Chinese and Dutch artists, architects and curators. The first presentation is on 20 August. All presentations are FREE to visit. On 22 and 29 August there is a Chinese brunch. On 4 September we organize a Finissage to celebrate the ending of the 3rd i exhibition.
